Everywhere in the world, the income of working women is certainly lower compared to working men. This is as true as the fact that working women also bear a heavier workload than men. Especially in societies where women are not given the same status as men, working women have to manage household chores alongside their jobs. Additionally, they have to take care of children and the elderly at home. Jobs come with a set value for work, but is the value of household work measured ? If it were, it would be clear that a housewife earns as much as a working women. Considering this, it becomes evident that educated, semi-educated, uneducated, working, or homemaking women are all earners. This means women are 100% earners compared to men. Men either have a job or run a business, or they are unemployed. But if they are not earning, they do not do household work. Nowadays, there is some change. There are men who treat women equally and help at home, but this is mostly among the educated class. Therefore, it cannot be said that women are treated equally worldwide. However, it can certainly be said that all women around the world are earners……

जगात सगळीकडेच कमावत्या स्त्रियांचे उत्पन्न हे नक्कीच कमावत्या पुरुषांच्या तुलनेत कमी आहे. हे जेव्हढे खरे आहे तेव्हढेच पुरुषांपेक्षा स्त्रियांना कामाचा बोजा अधिक पडतो हे देखील मान्य करावे लागेल. विशेषतः ज्या समाजात स्त्रियांना पुरुषांएव्हढाच दर्जा दिला जात नाही अश्या समाजात कमावत्या स्त्रीला नोकरी बरोबरच घरातील कामे देखील करावीच लागतात. याबरोबरच मुलांचे संगोपन आणि घरातील ज्येष्ठांची देखभाल देखील करावी लागते. नोकरीच्या ठिकाणी कामाचे ठरलेले मूल्य मिळते. पण घरात केलेल्या कामाचे मूल्य मोजले जाईल का ? ते जर मोजले तर गृहिणी असलेली स्त्री देखील नोकरदारा इतकाच पगार मिळवणारी स्त्री असल्याचे लक्षात येईल. आणि असे गृहीत धरले तर शिक्षित-अर्धशिक्षित, अशिक्षित, नोकरी करणाऱ्या किंवा घर सांभाळणाऱ्या अश्या सर्वच स्त्रिया कमावत्या आहेत हे समोर स्पष्ट होईल. म्हणजेच पुरुषांच्या तुलनेत स्त्रिया १००% कमावत्या आहेत. पुरुष एकतर नोकरी किंवा व्यवसाय करत असतो किंवा तो बेरोजगार असतो. पण तो कमावत नाही म्हणून घरकाम करत नाही. आता अलीकडे थोडा बदल होत आहे. स्त्रियांना समान वागणूक देणारे पुरुष आहेत, ते घरात मदत करतात. पण हे प्रमाण फक्त शिक्षित वर्गात आहे. त्यामुळे जगभरात स्त्रियांना समानतेची वागणूक दिली जाते असे म्हणता येणार नाही. मात्र जगभरातील सर्व स्त्रिया कमावत्या आहेत असं मात्र म्हणता येईल…..
