“मोठी संधी मिळूनही अपयशी होणाऱ्यांची संख्या जास्त का ?”

• In life, we might call people who cannot achieve success dispite repeated efforts as “unfortunate”. But what do we call those who, despite receiving more opportunities than their efforts deserve, still fail to succeed, if not “failures”? There are also people in the world who, even without getting a single big opportunity in life, not only succeed through consistent effort and hard work but also set a new example for the word.
• Some people, despite making sincere efforts, still need an opportunity. If they don’t get that opportunity, their sorrow is understandable to everyone. But what should we call the foolish people who complain about not getting opportunities yet fail to recognize the ones they do receive ? The God who  treats every living being equally gives everyone a chance. But if someone lacks the wisdom to recognize that the opportunity has arrived what can even God do ?
• I think that those who fail to take advantage of opportunities they receive may be experiencing a certain unnamed fear or pressure. They might worry, “God has given me this opportunity, but what if I fail to make the most of it ?” Perhaps it is due to this inferiority complex than the ability to act can never succeed in life.

• आयुष्यात एकसारखा प्रयत्न करून देखील यश मिळवू न शकणाऱ्या लोकांना आपण एकवेळ दुर्दैवी म्हणू शकतो. पण ज्यांना कायम त्यांच्या प्रयत्नांपेक्षाही जास्त संधी मिळूनही ते यशस्वी होत नाहीत अशा लोकांना ‘अपयशी’ म्हणायचं नाही तर आणखी काय म्हणणार ? जगात अशी माणसं देखील आहेत की, ज्यांना आयुष्यात एकही मोठी संधी न मिळता ही केवळ प्रयत्नातील सातत्य आणि कठोर परिश्रमाच्या बळावर ते नुसतेच यशस्वी होत नाहीत तर ते जगासमोर नवा आदर्श निर्माण करतात.
• काही जणांना मनापासून प्रयत्न करताना देखील एखाद्या संधीची आवश्यकता असते. अशांना ती संधी जर मिळाली नाही तर त्यांचे दुःख सर्वांनाच मान्य असते. पण केवळ संधी मिळत नाही असा कांगावा करीत मिळालेली संधीही न ओळखणाऱ्या निर्बुद्ध लोकांना आणखी काय म्हणायला हवे ? प्रत्येक जीवाला समानतेची वागणूक देणारा परमेश्वर प्रत्येकालाच संधी देत असतो. पण ही चालून आलेली संधी आहे, हे ओळखण्याची बुद्धी नसेल तर परमेश्वर तरी काय करणार ?
• मला वाटतं की, संधी मिळूनही त्या संधीचा फायदा घेता न येणाऱ्या लोकांमध्ये एकप्रकारची अनामिक भीती किंवा दडपण तयार होत असावे. परमेश्वराने आपल्याला संधी तर दिली आहे. पण दिलेल्या संधीचा फायदा घेण्यात आपणच कमी पडलो तर ? बहुदा या न्यूनगंडामुळेच आयुष्यात मोठी संधी मिळून देखील अपयशी होणाऱ्यांची संख्या जास्त असावी. म्हणजेच ज्यांच्याकडे कार्यशक्ती पेक्षाही न्यूनगंड अधिक प्रमाणात असतो, ते आयुष्यात कधीच यशस्वी होवू शकत नाहीत.
