गार वाऱ्याची झुळूक घेऊन येणारा सूर्यास्त चांगला…!

What’s your favorite time of day?

• It is probably difficult for those who plan their work throughout the day to express their preference for a particular time because, whether they like the time or not, they have already planned what they need to do at that time. But those who don’t plan their time during the day have plenty of time, so they can develop a preference for certain times. Fortunately, I don’t belong to the group of intellectuals who live by planning every minute. Since I have made my passion my career, I am one of those lazy people who work only when they are in the mood. Even so, the time of sunset in the evening is my favorite.
• Since I usually work late into the night, I sleep late and wake up late as well. I rarely wake up at sunrise. So I don’t get to see it every day. Therefore, I make it a point to watch the sunset. Just as some people are not present to see them off, I belong to that category. This is my life style. I review my day’s mistake while watching the setting sun, ensuring I don’t repeat them the next day. However, just as I don’t plan my work either, leading to exhaustion from the uncertainty of the day’s tasks. Then, in the last five minutes of sunset, I lose myself while watching the sunset. The cool breeze that comes after the heat of the day is refreshing and uplifting, making all the fatigue disappear. That’s why I love the time of sunset the most.

• संपूर्ण दिवसभरातील कामांचे नियोजन करणाऱ्यांना कदाचित वेळेची आवड-निवड सांगता येणे अवघडच असते. कारण वेळ आवडीची असो अथवा नसो, त्यावेळी काय करायचे ? याचे त्यांनी आधीच नियोजन केलेले असते. पण जे दिवसभरातील वेळेचे नियोजन करत नसतील अशा लोकांकडे मात्र खूप वेळ असल्याने ते लोक वेळेची आवड-निवड जोपासू शकतात. सुदैवाने मी वेळेचे नियोजन करत जगणाऱ्या बुद्धिवादी लोकांमध्ये मोडत नाही. मुळातच आवड हेच करिअर बनवले असल्याने मूड असेल तेंव्हाच काम करणाऱ्या आळशी लोकांपैकी मी आहे. तरी देखील दिवसभरापेक्षा सायंकाळच्या सूर्यास्ताची वेळ मला सर्वात जास्त आवडते.
• एकतर रात्री उशिरापर्यंत म्हणजेच मध्यरात्रीपर्यंत काम करत असल्याने उशिरा झोपतो मग उशिराच उठतो. कधीतरीच सूर्योदयाच्या वेळी उठत असल्याने दररोज सूर्योदय पाहणे होत नाही. म्हणूनच सूर्यास्त मात्र आवर्जून पाहतो. घरी येणाऱ्या पाहुण्यांच्या स्वागताला हजर नसले तरी त्यांना निरोप द्यायला मात्र आवर्जून उपस्थित राहणारे असतात. अगदी त्याच वर्गातील मी आहे. हीच माझी जीवनशैली आहे. अस्ताला जाणाऱ्या सूर्याकडे पहात आज दिवसभरात मी काय चुकलो ? याची उजळणी करतो. म्हणजे उद्या दिवसभरात केलेल्या चुकांची पुनरावृत्ती होवू नये. पण जसं वेळेचं नियोजन नाही. तसंच कामाचं देखील नियोजन नसल्याने दिवसभरात अनिश्चित कामामुळे त्रासून जातो. मग संध्याकाळी सूर्यास्ताच्या शेवटच्या पाच मिनिटात देहभान विसरून सूर्याचा अस्त बघत राहतो. संध्याकाळी ऊन उतरल्यावर येणारा हवेतला गारवा मनाला उत्साहित करणारा असतो. सगळा थकवा नाहीसा होतो. म्हणून तर सूर्यास्ताची वेळ सगळ्यात जास्त आवडते.
