I broke my own record for likes!

The month of August has been truly dreamlike for my blog. It’s been almost two years since I started my blog, avatibhavati.com. Without any technical knowledge, I ventured into this field, but the biggest hurdle was the language used globally. My blog, which has been in Marathi from the beginning, wasn’t receiving the response I had hoped for. Efforts did increase views, but “likes” were hard to come by. Since I had been writing in Marathi all this time, I wondered how I could write in English. In July, I decided to use the help of the chat GPT translator, and it worked like magic. Last year, I couldn’t manage to get 100 “likes” in an entire year. Now, I’ve broken my own record in just eight days. On August 21st, I received 140 likes in a single day. And on July 29th, I surpassed my own record by getting 141 likes.

From Judy: I was curious about what language you are speaking, so looked it up and then used Google translate to help me translate your “About Me” and this is what I came up with. Perhaps you could put this or a better translation into English in your “About Me” and it would bring even more responses. You have a poetic turn of phrase! Here is your statement:

“I have never tried to live a linear life but instead, set a goal from the beginning to become a traveling writer who lived a clean, whimsical and sometimes delusional life. I came into the field of journalism by accident as I was unable to do anything else, so I started writing, and it happened––I worked as a journalist in various newspapers for almost twenty-five years. Afterwards, I freed myself from the constraints of the job and took a break. Now I write in the free press. I have come this way to make friends with the changing world. Blogs are a ubiquitous platform. That is why it is limitless. It is a sea of virtual worlds. I am a sailor riding the wave of this sea, so now we will meet daily…!”–– Mukund Madhukar Hingane.
