सप्टेंबर या विशेष महिन्याचे स्वागत असो…..!

• If we look at it closely, all twelve months of the year are festive in their own way. While nature has created the cycle of seasons, humans have created the calendar. Therefore, to make every month and every day joyful, various religious scriptures have woven festivals throughout the year for their followers. We, as Hindus, are almost entirely immersed in festivals from August to November. During this time, the monsoon accompanies us, and nature is adorned in greenery. Hills, valleys, plateaus, and open plains, which otherwise seem bleak, are covered with green grass, trees, and vines.
• Today, the first dawn of September arrived drenched in rain. The rain shows no signs of stopping. By the time I finish writing this article, there’s no hope that it will cease either. The sky is completely filled with clouds. On this first day of the month, we haven’t glimpsed the sun. Yet, the first day of September is being enthusiastically welcomed in this pleasant atmosphere, and there’s a reason for that. The most beloved deity of Hindus, Lord Ganesha, will be arriving on the 7th of September. Lord Ganesha stays with us for the next ten days. During these ten days, along with Ganesha worship, there’s a grand celebration of food and entertainment. The same way Lord Ganesha is welcomed into our homes with great pomp, he is also bid farewell with equal grandeur after ten days. During these ten days, the world gets a mesmerizing glimpse of Indian values and culture in a devotional atmosphere. Now, the Ganesha festival is celebrated in various countries around the world as well.
• Well then, why am I still writing…! Let’s start preparing for the arrival of Lord Ganesha! Are you coming to witness the Ganesha festival…?

• तसं बघायला गेलं तर वर्षाचे बाराही महिने उत्सवीच असतात. निसर्गाने ऋतुचक्र तयार केलेले असले तरी माणसाने कालगणना चक्र तयार केले आहे. त्यामुळे प्रत्येक महिना अन प्रत्येक दिवस आनंददायी व्हावा म्हणून सर्वच धर्म संहितामधून आपआपल्या अनुयायांसाठी प्रत्येक महिन्यांसाठी उत्सवांची पेरणी करण्यात आलेली आहे. आम्ही हिंदूधर्मीय तर ऑगस्ट ते नोव्हेंबर हे चार महिने अक्षरशः उत्सवातच बुडालेलो असतो. नेमके याच काळात सोबतीला पावसाळा असतो. निसर्ग पण हिरवाईने नटलेला असतो. एरव्ही भेसूर वाटणारे डोंगर-दऱ्या आणि पठारे, मोकळी माळराने हिरव्या गवतांनी, वृक्षवेलींनी अच्छादलेली असतात.
• आज सप्टेंबरची पहिल्याच दिवसाची पहाट पावसाने भिजून चिंब होतच आली. पाऊस अजून थांबायचं नाव घेत नाहीय. हे आर्टिकल लिहून होइपर्यंत पाऊस थांबेल अशी देखील आशा नाही. आभाळ पूर्णपणे ढगांनी भरलेले आहे. आज महिन्याच्या पहिल्याच दिवशी सूर्यदर्शन घडलेलं नाही. पण तरी देखील सप्टेंबर महिन्याच्या पहिल्या दिवसाचे या आल्हाददायक वातावरणात उत्साहात स्वागत होत आहे, त्याला देखील कारण आहे. हिंदुधर्मीयांचा सर्वात आवडता देव म्हणजे श्री गणेश ! येत्या ७ सप्टेंबरला श्रीगणेशाचे आगमन होत आहे. पुढे दहा दिवस श्रीगणेशाचा मुक्काम असतो. या दहा दिवसांत गणेश पूजनासोबतच खाद्य आणि करमणुकीचा नुसता जल्लोष असतो. वाजत गाजत घरी येणाऱ्या गणरायाला दहा दिवसांनी वाजत गाजतच निरोप दिला जातो. या दहा दिवसांत भक्तिमय वातावरणातच भारतीय संस्कार आणि संस्कृतीचे विलोभनीय दर्शन साऱ्या जगाला होते. आता तर गणेशोत्सव हा जगभरातील विविध देशांमधून साजरा केला जातो.

• चला, लिहीत काय बसलोय….गणेशाच्या आगमनाच्या तयारीला सुरुवात करूया ! येताय ना मग गणेशोत्सव पहायला…..!
