What brands do you associate with?

After nearly 28 years of working as a journalist for various Marathi newspapers, I have been working as a freelance commercial content writer for the past seven years with Dainik Divya Marathi, a Marathi language newspaper. My primary responsibility is writing articles for supplements on various topics sponsored by advertisements. The newspaper is published from Solapur, a city in the state of Maharashtra, India. This journey has been guided by the Resident Editor, Nitin Phaltankar, Unit Head, Naushad Sheikh, and C.O.O. of Maharashtra, Zarkhand and Bihar state Nishit Jain, of “Bhaskar”group.

• Since this newspaper is the Marathi edition of India’s number one and Asia’s third-largest newspaper group, the “Bhaskar” Group, I feel a great sense of satisfaction today for having learned so many new things while working as a content writer. Whether it was creating advertisements or writing advertisement-sponsored content, the experience has been enriching.
• In 2017, my old colleague and friend Naushad Sheikh joined Dainik Divya Marathi as the Unit Head in Solapur, his hometown. As an old colleague, he urged me to work as a freelancer writing advertisement-sponsored content. I gladly accepted this responsibility as a new experience.
• The period from 2010 to 2017 was quite challenging for me. The decision I made to switch from print media to electronic media turned out to be a mistake. During this time, I decided to step away from working in media. However, due to my friendship with Naushad Sheikh, I agreed to work as a freelancer. I wanted to avoid the mental stress of a full-time job.
• Understanding this, Divya Marathi relaxed many of its corporate rules for me, allowing me to enjoy the freedom of work for the past seven years. I am truly happy to be associated with this brand.

जवळपास २८ वर्षे वेगवेगळ्या मराठी वृत्तपत्रांमधून पत्रकारिता केल्यानंतर गेल्या ७ वर्षांपासून “दैनिक दिव्यमराठी” या मराठी भाषेतून प्रसिद्ध होणाऱ्या वृत्तपत्रांमध्ये मुक्त पत्रकार म्हणून कमर्शियल कंटेंट रायटरचे काम पहातोय. मुख्यत्वे जाहिरात पुरस्कृत विविध विषयांवरील पुरवण्यांमधील आर्टिकल्सच्या लिखाणाचे काम करावे लागते. भारतातील महाराष्ट्र राज्यामध्ये सोलापूर हे जिल्ह्याचे शहर आहे. येथून प्रसिद्ध होणाऱ्या “दैनिक दिव्यमराठी” या वृत्तपत्राचे निवासी संपादक नितीन फलटणकर आणि युनिट हेड नौशाद शेख आणि “भास्कर” ग्रुपचे महाराष्ट्र, झारखंड आणि बिहार राज्याचे सीओओ निशित जैन यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली हा प्रवास सुरू आहे.

• भारतातील क्रमांक एकचा आणि आशिया खंडातील क्रमांक तीनचा सर्वात मोठा वृत्तपत्र समूह “भास्कर” ग्रुपची ही मराठी भाषेतील आवृत्ती असल्याने ह्या वृत्तपत्रासोबत कंटेंट रायटर म्हणून काम पाहताना जाहिरात तयार करताना किंवा जाहिरात पुरस्कृत कंटेंटचे लेखन करताना खूप काही नवीन शिकायला मिळाल्याचे आज समाधान होतेय.
• माझे वृत्तपत्र क्षेत्रातील जुने सहकारी आणि मित्र नौशाद शेख हे २०१७ साली सोलापूर या आपल्या होमटाऊन असलेल्या शहरात दैनिक दिव्यमराठीचे युनिट हेड म्हणून सेवेत रुजू झाले. त्याबरोबरच जुना सहकारी म्हणून त्यांनी मला जाहिरात पुरस्कृत कंटेंटच्या लिखाणासाठी फ्रिलान्सर म्हणून काम करण्याचा आग्रह केला. नवा अनुभव म्हणून मी देखील ही जबाबदारी आनंदाने स्वीकारली.
• २०१० ते २०१७ हा कालावधी तसा माझ्यासाठी अत्यंत वाईट काळ होता. याकाळात मी प्रिंट मिडियामधून इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मीडियामध्ये जाण्याचा घेतलेला निर्णय चुकला होता. या स्थितीत मी मीडियामध्ये काम न करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला होता. मात्र नौशाद शेख यांच्या मैत्रीपोटी मी फ्रिलान्सर म्हणून काम करायला होकार दिला. नोकरीमधील मनस्ताप मला नको होता.
• हे ओळखूनच दिव्यमराठीने माझ्यासाठी त्यांचे कार्पोरेट कल्चर असताना बरेच नियम शिथिल केले. त्यामुळेच गेल्या ७ वर्षांपासून कामाचा मुक्त आनंद मी उपभोगू शकतोय. या ब्रॅण्ड बरोबर जोडल्या गेल्याचा मला मनस्वी आनंद आहे.
