“गमावण्याचा हलगर्जीपणा तोच करू शकतो जो पुन्हा कमावण्याची हिम्मत ठेवतो…!”

What would you do if you lost all your possessions?

“If you lost all your wealth, what would you do?” Essentially, if the wealth is earned through hard work, the person takes care to secure it for the next generation. Even if carelessness leads to losing it, they show the courage to earn it back. Because only someone who has the courage to regain it can afford to be careless about losing it, whether it’s wealth or reputation. However, when it comes to inherited wealth, it is often impossible to regain. In the world, those who enjoy riches from their father’s earnings are the ones who end up impoverished. A person who earns through hard work never remains ‘destitute.’ They endure many blows of fate and remain steadfast.

• I was born into a middle-class family. In this context, having two meals a day on time and enough clothes to wear is considered wealth in the middle class. Middle-class families do not have inherited wealth, but they do have a legacy of values. Therefore, there’s nothing to lose. It’s often said that the financial situation of a family changes in a rotation every three generations. This simply means that if your grandparents and parents lived in average conditions, your child will likely change that situation. The same applies to wealth. Wealth remains in a family for only three generations; from the fourth generation, the family begins the struggle for survival again. This is the cycle of fate.
• As for me, I am not financially wealthy. However, I can proudly say that in terms of values, I am a billionaire. So, I have nothing to lose. Anyone can take my values from me; I’m ready to share them. No matter how generously I give, my store of values never runs out. That’s why I have no worries.
• We, the middle class, consider falling asleep peacefully the second we lie down on the bed at night as true “wealth.” That wealth is always with us. Those who live straightforward lives always enjoy peaceful sleep. Therefore, instead of planning wealth, the middle class always strives to live a meaningful life. As for me, I want to remain active even after retirement.

“जर तुम्ही तुमची सर्व संपत्ती गमावली तर तुम्ही काय कराल ?” मुळात स्वकष्टातून कमावलेली संपत्ती असेल तर तो व्यक्ती ती संपत्ती पुढच्या पिढीसाठी सुरक्षित ठेवण्याची काळजी घेत असतो. त्यातूनही हलगर्जीपणामुळे गमावण्याची वेळ आलीच तर पुन्हा कमावण्याची हिम्मत दाखवतो. कारण गमावण्याचा हलगर्जीपणा तोच करू शकतो, जो पुन्हा कमावण्याची हिम्मत ठेवतो. मग ती संपत्ती असेल किंवा प्रतिष्ठा असेल. वडिलार्जित संपत्ती असेल तर मात्र ती पुन्हा मिळवता येणे अशक्य असते. जगामध्ये बापकमाईवर श्रीमंती उपभोगणारेच कंगाल होताना दिसतात. स्वकष्टाने कमावणारा कधीच “कंगाल” रहात नाही. तो नियतीचे अनेक धक्के सहन करत स्थिरावलेला असतो.

• माझा जन्म मध्यमवर्गीय कुटुंबात झाला. त्यामुळे वेळेवर दोन वेळेचं जेवण आणि अंगावर घालायला पुरेसे कपडे मिळणे यालाच मध्यमवर्गीयांत श्रीमंती समजतात. मध्यमवर्गीयांमध्ये वडिलोपार्जित धनसंपत्ती नसते, तर असतो तो संस्काराचा ठेवा. त्यामुळे गमावण्यासारखे काहीच नसते. असं म्हणतात की एखाद्या घराण्याची आर्थिक स्थिती ही दर तीन पिढ्यानंतर रोटेशन पद्धतीने बदलत असते. याचाच सरळ अर्थ असा आहे की, तुमचे आजोबा आणि वडील सर्वसाधारण परिस्थितीमध्ये जगले असतील तर तुमचा मुलगा ही परिस्थिती बदलून दाखवतो. श्रीमंतीचं देखील तसंच आहे. एका घराण्यात श्रीमंती फक्त तीन पिढ्याच राहू शकते. चौथ्या पिढीपासून पुन्हा त्या घराण्याचा जगण्याचा संघर्ष सुरू होतो. हे नियतीचे चक्र आहे.
• मी तर आर्थिकदृष्ट्या श्रीमंत नाही. हां, संस्काराच्या बाबतीत मी अरबपती आहे असं अभिमानाने सांगू शकतो. त्यामुळे गमावण्यासारखं माझ्याकडे काहीच नाही. माझ्याकडून माझे संस्कार कुणीही घ्यावे, ते मी द्यायलाच बसलोय. कितीही मुक्तपणे वाटले तरी संस्काराचा साठा संपत नाही. म्हणूनच मला काळजी नाही.
• रात्री बेडवर पडल्यानंतर दुसऱ्या सेकंदाला शांत झोप लागणे याला आम्ही मध्यमवर्गीय “श्रीमंती” समजतो. ती आमच्याजवळ कायम आहे. सरळमार्गी जगणाऱ्याला कायमच शांत झोप लागते. त्यामुळे श्रीमंतीचे नियोजन करण्यापेक्षा जन्म सार्थकी लागावा असे काम करण्याचा मध्यमवर्गीयांचा नेहमी प्रयत्न असतो. मला तर निवृत्तीनंतर देखील कार्यरत रहायचं आहे.
