“वास्तववादी लेखनासाठी सशक्त अशा सत्य घटनेचा शोध घेतोय…!”

What have you been working on?

Since full-time writing is my passion, I am constantly in search of content to write about new topics. Whether it’s regular blog writing or posts on social media, I aim to write as informatively and thoughtfully as possible on current subjects. At the same time, I am always on the lookout for unique and attention-grabbing topics. In a way, it’s become an addiction for me. However, since things have started to feel repetitive, I’ve reduced the frequency of my social media posts. People often want to read commentary on the explosive issues currently being discussed, but I don’t enjoy topics that provoke political or communal tension. That’s why I’ve cut down on social media posts and am now focusing solely on blog writing.

• Once you accept writing as your primary work, maintaining consistency in your writing becomes extremely important. Especially when you are writing on social media or a blog, you need to have the habit and discipline of writing daily. By doing so, you are essentially promising your followers a regular supply of content. Any procrastination or delay can affect your followers’ engagement.
• You constantly face the pressure to post your article at a specific time each day. On social media, people expect in-depth discussions on current events. To meet that expectation, you must have a well-researched, timely, and balanced approach. Otherwise, the core topic of your writing might get sidelined, leading to unnecessary misunderstandings or heated debates. That’s why writing must be done with great caution.
• On social media, the “demand and supply” principle is often applied, similar to a business model. You have to cater to the preferences of your followers. If they dislike your irregularity or your writing style, they might stop following you. This can be damaging on social media. There’s also a large-scale give-and-take interaction — you like my post, I like yours. As a result, a significant portion of your day gets spent engaging with others’ posts to reciprocate likes.
• Alongside newspaper articles and blog writing, I am planning to resume my long-delayed playwriting. Additionally, this year, I am also considering turning towards novel writing. To achieve this, I am constantly in search of a strong story concept. It’s impossible for any writer to predict which topic will resonate with readers, making it a true test for the writer.
• It’s often said that an idle mind is the devil’s workshop, so we should never let our mind stay idle. We must keep ourselves engaged in some activity. Especially for writers, it’s important to write something every day. To capture people’s attention, you need to produce as much content as possible. With this in mind, I am constantly wandering in search of a new story seed.

पूर्णवेळासाठी लेखनकार्य हाच माझा ध्यास असल्याने सतत नव्या विषयांवर लिहिण्यासाठी मी कंटेंटच्या सतत शोधात असतो. नियमित ब्लॉग लेखन, सोशल मिडियावरच्या पोस्ट लिहिण्यासाठी सध्या सुरू असणाऱ्या विषयांवर शक्य तेव्हढे माहितीपूर्ण आणि संयमित लेखन करण्याबरोबरच नवीन वेगळा ज्याकडे सर्वांचे लक्ष वेधून घेतले जाईल अशा विषयाच्या मी सतत शोधात असतो. मला एक प्रकारे ते व्यसनच लागले आहे. आता तोच-तोचपणा येत असल्याने सोशल मीडियावर पोस्ट लिहिण्याचे प्रमाण कमी करत आहे. तिथे सध्या जे काही स्फोटक विषय सुरू आहेत त्यावर केलेले भाष्य लोकांना वाचायला हवे असते. मात्र मला राजकीय किंवा जातीय तेढ निर्माण करणारे विषय आवडत नाहीत. त्यामुळे सोशल मीडियावर पोस्ट लिहायचे प्रमाण कमी केले आहे. सध्या फक्त ब्लॉग लेखनावर लक्ष केंद्रित करण्याचा विचार आहे.

• तुम्ही एकदा का लेखनकार्य हेच तुमचे प्रमुख कार्य म्हणून स्विकारता तेंव्हा लेखनकार्यातील सातत्य अतिशय महत्वाचे असते. विशेषतः जेंव्हा तुम्ही सोशल मिडिया अथवा ब्लॉग लेखन करत असता अशावेळी तुमच्यामध्ये रोज लिखाण करण्याची सवय आणि शिस्त ही हवीच असते. कारण तुम्हाला फॉलो करणाऱ्या लोकांना वाचनखाद्य पुरविण्याची एकप्रकारची हमी तुम्ही देत असता. त्यात जरासुद्धा चालढकल अथवा दिरंगाई झाली तरी तुमच्या फॉलोअर्सवर त्याचा परिणाम होत असतो.
• दररोज ठराविक वेळेला तुम्हाला तुमचे आर्टिकल पोस्ट करण्याचे सतत टेन्शन घ्यावे लागते. त्यातही सोशल मीडियावर चालू घडामोडींवर लोकांना खूप खोलवर चर्चा हवी असते. मग तुम्हालाही ते खाद्य पुरवताना त्याचा अभ्यास, समयसूचकता आणि संयमितपणा असावाच लागतो. अन्यथा तुमच्या लेखनाचा मूळ विषय बाजूला पडून केवळ गैरसमजातून मोठा वादंग निर्माण होवू शकतो. याकरिता खूप जपून लेखन करावे लागते.
• सोशल मीडियावरील लेखनात शक्यतो “मागणी तसा पुरवठा” हे व्यापारी तत्व अंमलात आणले जाते. कारण तुम्हाला फॉलो करणारे फॉलोअर्स यांचे तुम्हाला लाड करावेच लागतात. त्यांना जर तुमची अनियमितता आणि तुमची लेखनशैली आवडली नाही तर ते तुम्हाला फॉलो करायचे सोडून देतात. सोशल मीडियावर हे परवडणारे नसते. तू मला लाईक कर, मी तुला लाईक करतो. हा देवाण-घेवाणीचा व्यवहार देखील मोठ्याप्रमाणात असतो. त्यामुळे शक्यतो सर्वच पोस्टला “लाईक” करण्यासाठी दिवसातील खूप मोठा वेळ खर्च करावा लागतो.
• वृत्तपत्रीय लेखन आणि ब्लॉगलेखना बरोबरच आता रखडलेले नाट्यलेखन पुन्हा वेगात सुरू करायचे आहे. याशिवाय यावर्षी कादंबरी लेखनाकडे देखील वळण्याचा मी विचार करतोय. यासाठी मला सशक्त कथाबिज मिळविण्यासाठी सतत प्रयत्नात रहावे लागत आहे. कोणता विषय वाचकांना आवडेल याचा कधीच कोणत्याही लेखकाला अंदाज येत नसतो. त्यामुळे लेखकाचा खरा परीक्षेचा काळ असतो.
• रिकामं डोकं सैतानाचे घर असते, असं आपल्याकडे म्हंटले जाते. म्हणून डोकं रिकामं कधीच ठेवायचं नसतं, सतत काही ना काही करायलाच पाहिजे. खास करून लेखकवर्गाने तर दररोज दिवसभरात काही ना काही लिहिलेच पाहिजे. लोकांचे लक्ष वेधून घेण्यासाठी जास्तीत जास्त लिखाण हे केलेच पाहिजे. हे सर्व पाहता मी नव्या कथाबीजाच्या शोधात रोज भटकत असतो.
