What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever found (and kept)?

As a child, I used to feel immense joy whenever I found money while walking on the road. So many people walk along the road, but why would those coins catch only my eye? I believed that God must have sent them for me to enjoy a treat. So, I would pick up the money and buy chocolates during the school break. However, as I grew older, instead of spending the money I found, I started placing it in the donation box at the temple. Doing so gives me a sense of fulfillment and happiness.

• I find money on the road almost every day. Yes, I used to consider myself lucky in this regard. From a one-rupee coin to five hundred or thousand-rupee notes, I would spot money lying on the road. If it were just a coincidence, how could I find money every single day?
• After thinking deeply about it, I realized that I always walk with my eyes down. As a result, I immediately notice objects lying on the road. Many people walk without looking down, their eyes wandering around as they’re familiar with the path. So, even if they walk past the money on the road, they probably don’t notice it.
• Anything can be lying on the road, but coins shine and catch the eye. Or perhaps, because my mind is always thinking about money, I can quickly recognize it from afar. This is just my assumption, without any logical basis, but that’s what I believe. In fact, many people who walk with me have witnessed this, as I find money after walking just 100-200 meters. That’s why they also consider me lucky.
• Money falls on the road because of carelessness. It’s not like someone is deliberately scattering money, nor is God dropping it. After realizing this, I began to pause for a moment where I find money, in case the person who dropped it comes back looking for it. Once, I found two thousand rupee notes on the road, but a little while later, someone came searching for them. After confirming, I returned the money. Since then, I have started placing the money I find in the temple donation box. This brings me a sense of fulfillment and happiness.
• Do you also find money on the road? If not, then maybe you shouldn’t walk with your eyes wandering around. Start looking down while walking… you might find some money too.

“मला रस्त्यावर सापडलेली नाणी देवळाच्या दानपेटीत टाकतो..!”

लहानपणी मला रस्त्यावर चालताना पैसे सापडल्यावर खूप आनंद व्हायचा. रस्त्यावरून एव्हढे लोक चालत जातात. पण ते पैसे आपल्याच नजरेत का यावेत ? परमेश्वरानेच आपल्याला ते खाऊसाठी पाठवले असावेत म्हणून मी ते पैसे उचलून शाळेत मधल्या सुट्टीत चॉकलेट खात होतो. मात्र पुढे मोठे झाल्यावर सापडणारे पैसे खर्च करण्यापेक्षा देवळातील दानपेटीत टाकायला सुरुवात केली. त्यात मला एकप्रकारचे समाधान आणि आनंद मिळतो.

• मला रोज रस्त्यावरून चालताना पैसे सापडतात. होय, पूर्वी मी ह्या बाबतीत स्वतःला नशीबवान समजायचो. अगदी एक रुपयाच्या नाण्यापासून ते पाचशे-हजाराच्या नोटेपर्यंत मला रस्त्यावर पडलेले पैसे दिसतात. हा निव्वळ योगायोग म्हणावा तर रोजच पैसे दिसणे हा कसला योग असू शकतो ?
• खूप विचार केल्यावर माझ्या लक्षात आले की मी रस्त्यावर चालताना खाली बघून चालतो. त्यामुळे रस्त्यावर पडलेल्या वस्तूंकडे माझे लगेचच लक्ष जाते. बरेच लोक हे रस्त्यावरून चालताना इकडे-तिकडे बघत चालत असतात. रस्ता सवयीचा असल्याने खाली बघून चालत नाहीत. त्यामुळे बहुदा ते रस्त्यावर पडलेल्या पैशाला ओलांडून जात असले तरी त्यांचे लक्ष जात नसावे.
• रस्त्यावर काहीही पडलेले असते. पण त्यातून नाणी चमकतात. किंवा आपल्या डोक्यात नेहमीच पैशाचा विषय सुरू असल्याने पैसे दूरवरून चटकन आपल्याला ओळखू येत असावेत असा माझा समज झाला आहे. याला कोणताच तर्कशुद्ध आधार नाही. असं फक्त मला वाटतं. पण मला चालताना अगदी शंभर-दोनशे मीटर अंतर चालून गेले की पैसे सापडतात हा अनुभव माझ्यासोबत चालताना अनेकांना आला आहे. म्हणून ते देखील मला लकी समजतात.
• रस्त्यावर चालताना वेंधळेपणा मुळेच पैसे पडतात. उगीचच कुणी पैसे उधळत जात नसतो. किंवा परमेश्वर देखील टाकत नसतो. हे समजायला लागल्यावर जिथे पैसे सापडतात त्याठिकाणी मी काही वेळ थांबतो. कारण ज्याचे पैसे पडलेले असतात तो कदाचित शोधत आला तर त्याला परत करता येतात. एकदा रस्त्यावर मला दोन हजार रुपयांच्या नोटा सापडल्या होत्या. पण काहीवेळाने एक व्यक्ती शोधत आला होता. खात्री करून त्याला परत दिले. त्यानंतर मी सापडलेले पैसे देवळाच्या दानपेटीत टाकायला सुरुवात केली. मला त्यातून एकप्रकारचे समाधान आणि आनंद मिळतो.
• तुम्हाला पण पैसे सापडत असतील ना ? नसतील तर रस्त्याने चालताना इकडे-तिकडे बघत चालू नका. खाली बघून चालायला सुरुवात करा….तुम्हाला पण पैसे सापडतील.
