How are you creative?

Today, as I sit down to write my blog, it’s just past midnight on December 24, crossing into December 25 amidst the joyous fireworks of “Merry Christmas” celebrations lighting up the sky. Wishing a very Merry Christmas to all my blog subscribers and followers! 💐💐

Today’s prompt asks, “How are you creative?” Before delving into creativity, we must first address an important question: Are we sensitive? If you are sensitive, then it is safe to assume that you are undoubtedly creative.

• Honestly, I’m confused about whether the prompt has framed the question incorrectly or if I’m interpreting it the wrong way. The question, “How are you creative?” seems to have left me puzzled.
• At the core, I believe that if we define sensitivity as the ability to respond insightfully to the events happening in our minds or surroundings, then creativity is the next step of that sensitivity. All of us express our emotions on social media, and the creativity to present these emotions in a meaningful way is inherently within us. In this context, the question “How are you creative?” feels a bit perplexing. Instead, a question like “What is the language of your expression?” might have been more relatable.
• Now, speaking about creativity, should we define it as the ingenuity of expressing opinions or responses? Or is it the process of subtly conveying thoughts through artistic expression? Creativity is also described as the ability to experience and realize something novel. But again, this brings up the question: What exactly is novelty? If we define it as the imaginative manifestation of the impressions formed in our minds and surroundings, then creativity is that process of bringing these impressions to life. In this way, today’s prompt seems to add to the confusion.
• As far as I am concerned, I avoid expressing myself immediately about the events happening in my mind or around me. I prefer to study these events neutrally first and then express my thoughts in a composed manner. Thus, my creativity falls under the category of “restrained creativity.” What category does your creativity belong to?

“सर्जनशीलता ही माणसातील संवेदनशीलतेवर अवलंबून असते…!”

आज ब्लॉग लिहायला बसलोय तोच मुळी २४ डिसेंबरच्या मध्यरात्री १२ वाजून गेल्यानंतर २५ डिसेंबरच्या “हॅपी ख्रिसमसच्या” जल्लोषाची आकाशात आतषबाजी होत असताना. माझ्या ब्लॉगच्या सर्व सबस्क्राईबर आणि फॉलोअर्सना ख्रिसमसच्या खूप शुभेच्छा.💐💐प्रॉम्प्टकडून आज “तुम्ही सर्जनशील कसे आहात ?” हा विषय दिला आहे. त्याविषयी लिहिताना सर्वात प्रथम सर्जनशीलतेविषयी लिहिण्याअगोदर आपण संवेदनशील आहोत का ? या प्रश्नावर बोललं पाहिजे. तुम्ही संवेदनशील असाल तर मग तुम्ही नक्कीच सर्जनशील आहात असे समजायला हरकत नाही.

• खरं म्हणजे प्रॉम्प्टने हा प्रश्न चुकीचा विचारला आहे की त्या प्रश्नाचा अर्थ मी चुकीच्या पद्धतीने लावतोय का ? या गोंधळात सध्या मी आहे. “तुम्ही सर्जनशील कसे आहात ?” हा प्रश्न विचारून प्रॉम्प्टने माझाच बहुदा गोंधळ उडवला आहे.
• मुळात माझी अशी धारणा आहे की, आपल्या मनात किंवा आपल्या अवती-भवती ज्या काही घडामोडी घडत असतात. त्यावर सुचकतेने व्यक्त होणे याला जर आपण संवेदनशीलता समजत असू तर संवेदनशीलतेचा पुढचा टप्पा हा सर्जनशीलता असतो. आपण सगळेच सोशल मीडियावर आपल्या संवेदना व्यक्त करत असतो. त्याची व्यापकता दर्शविण्याची सर्जनशीलता आपल्या अंगीभूत असतेच. मग अशावेळी “तुम्ही सर्जनशील कसे आहात ?” हा प्रश्न नक्कीच गोंधळ वाढविणारा वाटतो. त्या ऐवजी “तुमच्या अभिव्यक्तीची भाषा कशी आहे ?” कदाचित असा प्रश्न अधिक जवळचा वाटला असता.
• आता सर्जनशीलता बद्दलच बोलायचं तर आपले मत किंवा प्रतिक्रिया मांडण्याच्या कल्पकतेला आपण सर्जनशीलता म्हणायचं का ? की कलात्मक मांडणीमधून सुचकपणे व्यक्त होण्याच्या प्रक्रियेला सर्जनशीलता म्हणायचं ? नवनिर्मितीचा साक्षात्कार करण्याला देखील सर्जनशीलता म्हणतात. पण पुन्हा तोच प्रश्न येतो मग नवनिर्मिती म्हणजे काय ? तर आपल्या मनात आणि अवती-भवती उमटलेल्या तरंगांचे कल्पक प्रकटीकरण म्हणजे नवनिर्मिती. तर प्रॉम्प्टचा आजचा प्रश्न हा अशाप्रकारे गोंधळ वाढवतोय.
• माझ्या पुरतेच सांगायचे झाले तर माझ्या मनात किंवा माझ्या अवती-भवती घडणाऱ्या घटनांवर मी लगेचच व्यक्त होणे टाळतो. आधी तटस्थपणे त्या घटनांचा अभ्यास करतो. मगच संयमितपणे त्यावर व्यक्त होतो. मग माझी सर्जनशीलता ही संयमित सर्जनशीलता या प्रकारात मोडते असं आपण समजू. तुमची सर्जनशीलता कोणत्या प्रकारात मोडते ?
