What are three objects you couldn’t live without?

Writing is the breath of my life. For the past three decades, I have been continuously writing, and in this journey, there are certain things without which my writing feels incomplete. The three most essential among them are a pen, diary, and mobile.

When I first started writing, paper and pen were my only tools. Later, I realized that a diary was a convenient and reliable medium to organize and preserve my thoughts for a longer time. Since then, the pen and diary have remained my constant companions.

Further, over the past 15 years, as the importance of the mobile as a communication and reference tool became evident, it also became an integral part of my writing process. Today, my pen, diary, and mobile are always with me, supporting my creative journey.

The pen, diary, and mobile are the three main pillars of my writing journey. The pen helps me express my thoughts, the diary preserves my memories, and the mobile connects me to the world! Without them, I cannot go even a single day with ease.

1. Pen – The Flow of My Thoughts :-

When I first started writing, paper and pen were my primary tools. Even though digital technology has now taken over, my thoughts do not flow freely unless I hold a pen in my hand. To maintain an uninterrupted stream of words while writing, I always keep a pen close by. In the writing process, emotions, memories, and thoughts find their perfect expression, and my connection with the page comes alive. That is why a pen is not just an object for me—it is an extension of my creativity.

2. Diary – My Personal Writing Universe :-

A diary is a mirror of my mind! The moments I experience, the sights I witness, the words I hear, and the thoughts that come to me—all of these are preserved in my diary. If an interesting topic suddenly comes to mind, if a poem takes shape in my thoughts, or if I have a memorable experience during my travels, I immediately note it down in my diary. That is why, without my diary, I feel incomplete.

3. Mobile – My Connection to the Modern World :-

Writing should not remain confined to paper—it needs to reach people. Earlier, printed media served this purpose, but in today’s digital era, the reach of writing has expanded significantly. My mobile phone connects me to readers across the world. Publishing articles on social media, updating my blog, researching references, and even translating my work—all of this is possible only because of my mobile. That is why it has become an essential part of my writing toolkit.

“पेन, डायरी आणि मोबाईल हेच माझे सखेसोबती….!”

लेखन हा माझ्या जीवनाचा श्वास आहे. गेल्या तीन दशकांपासून मी सतत लिखाण करत आलो आहे, आणि या प्रवासात काही गोष्टी अशा आहेत ज्या शिवाय माझे लिखाण पूर्ण होऊ शकत नाही. त्यातील महत्त्वाच्या तीन वस्तू म्हणजे पेन, डायरी आणि मोबाईल. मी लिखाणाला सुरुवात केली तेंव्हा कागद आणि पेन हेच साहित्य होते. पुढे ‘डायरी’ ही सहजतेने हाताळता येण्यासारखे आणि संकलित केलेली माहिती दीर्घकाळ सुरक्षित ठेवण्यासाठी योग्य साधन असल्याचे दिसून आल्यावर पेन आणि डायरी कायम सोबत राहिले. त्याही पुढच्या काळात म्हणजे जवळपास १५ वर्षांपासून संपर्काचे साधन म्हणून मोबाईलचे महत्व पटल्यानंतर आता माझ्या सोबत ‘पेन, डायरी आणि मोबाईल’ कायम असतात.

पेन,डायरी आणि मोबाईल या तीन वस्तू म्हणजे माझ्या लेखनयात्रेचे मुख्य आधारस्तंभ आहेत. पेन विचार मांडण्यासाठी, डायरी आठवणी साठवण्यासाठी आणि मोबाईल जगाशी जोडण्यासाठी! यांच्याशिवाय मी एक दिवसही सहज जाऊ शकत नाही.

१. पेन – माझ्या विचारांचा प्रवाह :-

लिहायला सुरुवात केली तेव्हा कागद आणि पेन हेच माझे मुख्य साधन होते. आज डिजिटल तंत्रज्ञान आले असले, तरी माझ्या हातात पेन घेतल्याशिवाय माझे विचार मोकळे होत नाहीत. लिहिताना शब्दांचा ओघ अखंड राहावा, म्हणून मी कायम पेन जवळ ठेवतो. लिहिण्याच्या प्रक्रियेत मनातील भावना, आठवणी, विचार यांना योग्य शब्द मिळतात, आणि माझा संवाद कागदावर उमटतो. त्यामुळेच, पेन माझ्यासाठी केवळ एक वस्तू नाही, तर माझ्या सर्जनशीलतेचा एक भाग आहे.

२. डायरी – माझे वैयक्तिक लेखनविश्व :-

डायरी म्हणजे माझ्या मनाचा आरसा! मी अनुभवलेले क्षण, पाहिलेले दृश्य, ऐकलेली वचने, सुचलेले विचार – हे सर्व जतन करण्यासाठी डायरी माझी साथीदार आहे. कधी अचानक एखादा चांगला विषय सुचला, एखादी कविता मनात उमटली, किंवा प्रवासात एखादा सुंदर अनुभव मिळाला, तर तो लगेच डायरीत टिपतो. त्यामुळेच, डायरीशिवाय मी अपूर्ण आहे.

३. मोबाईल – आधुनिक जगाशी नाते :-

लेखन हे केवळ कागदावरच न राहता लोकांपर्यंत पोहोचले पाहिजे. पूर्वी छापील माध्यमे होती, पण आज डिजिटल युगात लेखनाचा पोहोच अधिक वाढला आहे. मोबाईलमुळे मी जगभरातील वाचकांशी जोडला जातो. सोशल मीडियावर लेख प्रसिद्ध करणे, ब्लॉग अपडेट करणे, संदर्भ शोधणे, लेखनासाठी भाषांतर करणे – हे सगळे मोबाईलशिवाय शक्य नाही. त्यामुळेच, तो माझ्या लेखनसामग्रीचा महत्त्वाचा भाग बनला आहे.
