What movies or TV series have you watched more than 5 times?

Being an Indian, I have, of course, watched several Bollywood milestone films countless times. When Sholay was released in 1975, I was just 9 years old when I watched it for the first time. It is simply impossible to count how many times I have watched Sholay since then. There are many such Hindi movies that I have watched more than five times.

Sholay is considered an immortal masterpiece in the Hindi film industry. Even the journey of its making has become a legend. There is hardly any Indian who hasn't watched Sholay. For many, their journey of watching Hindi films began with this very movie. Over the past fifty years, Sholay has also worked its magic in creating generations of passionate movie lovers.

Watched Sholay for the First Time at the Age of Nine :-

1. Sholay (1975) :-

Considered a milestone in Bollywood, this film was released on August 15, 1975.

• At that time, I was just 9 years old.
• Our entire family watched it together in the theater for the first time.
• Since then, it is impossible to count how many times I have watched it.

2. Multiple Amitabh Bachchan Films :-

Amitabh Bachchan’s films had a profound impact on me. I have watched several of his movies more than five times, including:

• Deewar (1975) – The dialogue “Mere paas maa hai” became legendary.
• Don (1978) – The famous line “Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, namumkin hai” became iconic.
• Satte Pe Satta (1982) – The film’s acting, comedy, and songs remain fresh even today.
• Amar Akbar Anthony (1977) – His role as Anthony Gonsalves was hugely popular.
• Sharaabi (1984) – The dialogue “Moochhen ho toh Nathulal jaisi ho” became a fan favorite.

3. Other Bollywood Films :-

There are several other Hindi films that I have watched multiple times:

• Mughal-e-Azam (1960) – For its grandeur and powerful performances.
• Pakeezah (1972) – For its mesmerizing music and cinematic beauty.
• Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) – For its delicate portrayal of romance.
• Lagaan (2001) – For its incredible storytelling and connection with cricket.

These films are not just about entertainment for me; I have watched them repeatedly for their acting, dialogues, music, and overall cinematic presentation.

“पाच पेक्षा अधिकवेळा पाहिलेल्या हिंदी चित्रपटांची सुरुवात ‘शोले’ पासून…!”

मी भारतीय असल्याने अर्थातच बॉलिवूडच्या अनेक माईलस्टोन ठरलेल्या चित्रपटांची अक्षरशः पारायणे केली आहेत. १९७५ मध्ये प्रदर्शित झालेल्या शोले पहिल्यांदा पाहिला त्यावेळी मी अवघा ९ वर्षाचा होतो. शोले आजपर्यंत मी किती वेळा पाहिला आहे, याची मोजदाद करणे केवळ अशक्य आहे. असे अनेक हिंदी चित्रपट आहेत जे पाच पेक्षा जास्त वेळा मी पाहिलेले आहेत.

"शोले" हा चित्रपट हिंदी चित्रपट सृष्टीतील अजरामर कलाकृती समजली जाते. तिच्या निर्मितीचा प्रवास हा देखील एक दंतकथा बनला आहे. शोले बघितला नाही असा एकही भारतीय सापडणार नाही. कित्येकांची हिंदी चित्रपट पाहण्याची सुरुवात त्याच चित्रपटाने झाली आहे. तर गेल्या पन्नास वर्षात चित्रपट शौकीन पिढी बनविण्याची जादू देखील याच 'शोले'ने केली आहे.

नऊ वर्षांचा असताना “शोले” पहिल्यांदा पाहिला :-

1. शोले (1975) :-

• बॉलिवूडचा माईलस्टोन समजला जाणारा हा चित्रपट १५ ऑगस्ट १९७५ रोजी प्रदर्शित झाला.
• त्या वेळी माझे वय अवघे ९ वर्षे होते.
• आम्ही संपूर्ण कुटुंबासह पहिल्यांदा थिएटरमध्ये हा चित्रपट पाहिला.
• त्यानंतर किती वेळा पाहिला हे मोजणे अशक्य आहे.
• 2 अमिताभ बच्चनचे अनेक चित्रपट :-

अमिताभ बच्चनच्या चित्रपटांनी माझ्यावर मोठा प्रभाव टाकला. त्याचे अनेक चित्रपट मी ५ पेक्षा जास्त वेळा पाहिले आहेत, त्यापैकी काही –

• दीवार (1975) – “मेरे पास माँ है” हा डायलॉग अजरामर आहे.
• डॉन (1978) – “डॉन को पकडना मुश्किल ही नहीं, नामुमकिन है” हा संवाद गाजला.
• सत्ते पे सत्ता (1982) – त्यातील अभिनय, कॉमेडी आणि गाणी आजही ताजीतवानी वाटतात.
• अमर अकबर अँथनी (1977) – या चित्रपटातील त्याचे ‘अँथनी गोन्साल्विस’ हे पात्र खूप गाजले.
• शराबी (1984) – “मूंछें हो तो नथ्थूलाल जैसी हों” हा डायलॉग लोकांनी उचलून धरला.

1. इतर काही बॉलिवूड चित्रपट :-

काही हिंदी चित्रपट असे आहेत, जे मी अनेकदा पाहिले –

• मुगल-ए-आझम (1960) – भव्यतेसाठी आणि अभिनयासाठी.
• पाकीज़ा (1972) – संगीत आणि सिनेमा सौंदर्यासाठी.
• दिलवाले दुल्हनिया ले जायेंगे (1995) – प्रेमकथेच्या नाजूक मांडणीसाठी.
• लगान (2001) – अप्रतिम कथा आणि क्रिकेटशी असलेली जवळीक.

हे सर्व चित्रपट केवळ मनोरंजनासाठी नव्हे, तर त्यांच्या अभिनयशैली, संवाद, संगीत आणि संपूर्ण सादरीकरणासाठी मी पुन्हा पुन्हा पाहिले आहेत.
