What was the best compliment you’ve received?
I have been writing plays since 1995. After the staging of my very first full-length play, “Kahi Agni Kadhich Shamat Nasta”, the appreciation I received for my writing felt far more rewarding than the praise for my direction. Since then, I have written a total of 12 plays and 14 one-act plays. Each time, I have been honored with awards for the best writing and have received immense appreciation from audiences. The same holds true for my journey in journalism as well. Overall, my writing style has always been widely appreciated.
Writing is not just an art for me; it is my inner dialogue. Each of my plays, one-act plays, and journalistic writings has enriched me further. The appreciation I receive from audiences and critics on this journey is my true inspiration for future writing.

“माझा नाट्यलेखनाचा प्रवास-कौतुकाचे क्षण आणि प्रेरणा…!”
मी १९९५ पासून नाट्यलेखन करत आहे. मी लिहिलेल्या “काही अग्नी कधीच शमत नसतात” या पहिल्याच दोन अंकी नाटकाच्या सादरीकरणानंतर रसिकांनी लेखनाबद्दल केलेले कौतुक हे माझ्या नाट्य दिग्दर्शनाच्या कौतुकापेक्षाही मला सरस वाटले. त्यानंतर आजपर्यंत एकूण १२ नाटके आणि १४ एकांकिका लिहिल्या. प्रत्येकवेळी नाट्यलेखनासाठी मला सर्वोत्कृष्ट लेखनाची पारितोषिके आणि रसिकांचे कौतुक मिळत गेले. हीच गोष्ट माझ्या पत्रकारितेच्या प्रवासाची देखील आहे. एकूणच लेखनशैलीसाठी माझे कायम कौतुक होत असते.
लेखन ही माझ्यासाठी केवळ एक कला नाही, तर तो माझा आत्मसंवाद आहे. माझ्या प्रत्येक नाटकाने, एकांकिकेने, आणि पत्रकारितेतील लेखांनी मला अधिक समृद्ध केले आहे. या प्रवासात रसिकांचे आणि समीक्षकांचे मिळणारे कौतुक हेच माझ्या पुढील लेखनाची खरी प्रेरणा आहे.
- नाट्यलेखनाची सुरुवात :-
१९९५ मध्ये मी माझ्या पहिल्या दोन अंकी नाटक “काही अग्नी कधीच शमत नसतात” लिहिले. या नाटकाचे सादरीकरण झाल्यानंतर, प्रेक्षकांनी आणि समीक्षकांनी दिलेली दाद ही माझ्या लेखनप्रवासातील पहिला मोठा टप्पा ठरली. विशेषतः, या नाटकाच्या सादरीकरणानंतर मिळालेल्या कौतुकाची छाप माझ्या दिग्दर्शनाच्या कौतुकापेक्षा जास्त खोलवर उमटली.
- लेखनातून मिळालेलं समाधान :-
या पहिल्या नाटकानंतर मी लेखन क्षेत्रात अधिक गांभीर्याने काम करू लागलो. माझ्या लेखनशैलीसाठी आणि विषयाच्या निवडीसाठी मला कायमच उत्तम प्रतिसाद मिळत गेला. आतापर्यंत मी १२ नाटके आणि १४ एकांकिका लिहिल्या आहेत. प्रत्येक नाटक आणि एकांकिकेसाठी रसिकांचे भरभरून प्रेम मिळाले, तसेच विविध पुरस्कारही मिळाले.
- नाट्यलेखनाबरोबर पत्रकारितेतील गौरव :-
केवळ नाट्यलेखनच नव्हे, तर पत्रकारितेच्या क्षेत्रातही माझ्या लेखनशैलीचे नेहमीच कौतुक झाले आहे. माझ्या शब्दशैलीतली सुस्पष्टता, सखोल विचार आणि मांडणीच्या पद्धतीमुळे मला माझ्या क्षेत्रात वेगळे स्थान मिळाले.
- कौतुकाचा महत्त्वाचा क्षण :-
लेखनाविषयीचं मिळालेलं हे सततचं कौतुक माझ्यासाठी केवळ एक सन्मान नाही, तर ती माझ्या लेखनप्रवासाला ऊर्जा देणारी प्रेरणा आहे. माझ्या नाटकांमध्ये आणि लेखांमध्ये मी जे काही मांडतो, त्याला प्रेक्षक आणि वाचकांकडून मिळणारा प्रतिसाद हा माझ्यासाठी सर्वोत्तम पुरस्कार आहे.
