Between the two fixed points of birth and death, life is a journey—a continuous, unfolding dramatic voyage. Each person lives differently, because each one’s path is unique. This journey is sometimes joyful, sometimes filled with sorrow, and at times marked by intense struggle. Yet, the common thread that ties all these experiences together is “destiny”—an invisible playwright. From her pen, our story is born.
Our date of birth is our entry onto the stage, and death is the final curtain—our exit. We are merely characters in this grand drama. Sometimes the hero, sometimes the villain, sometimes the jester, and at other times just a humble soul playing their part quietly.
The end of this play is certain, but what we build on the way to that end—that is the true success of our life. When the final curtain of life falls, what remains behind are our memories, our thoughts, and our deeds. And that is why—
"A role is never big or small; what matters is how it is performed."
♦️ The Opportunity to Play a Role :-
On this grand stage of life, what lies in our hands is merely the opportunity to play a role. Whether we like it or not, it is our responsibility to perform it. Some are given lead roles, others supporting ones—that choice isn’t ours. But to portray our role with sincerity and dedication—that is our true task.
♦️ Everyone Has a Unique Place on This Stage :-
Sometimes we wonder, “Why was this role given to me? Why has life written such a difficult script for me?” But we forget that every role has its own place on stage. Even a jester can convey deep meanings beyond laughter. That’s why every role is significant—because only through each role does the play become complete.
♦️ No Room for Rehearsal :-
There is no room for rehearsal in this play. Each day is a new scene—sometimes it feels like practice, sometimes like a live performance. Every action of ours is under the spotlight of the audience (that is, society). At times, we receive applause, and at other times, criticism.
♦️ We Are Not Given the Full Script :-
Though destiny is the writer, it never hands over the full script. Some scenes are pre-written, but the dialogues—we decide. How we act, how we think, those are the colors we add to the scene. And so, on this stage of life, how we perform matters the most.
“आयुष्याच्या रंगभूमीवरील नियतीचे महानाट्य आणि आपली भूमिका…!”
जन्म आणि मृत्यू या दोन स्थायी बिंदूंमध्ये आपलं जीवन हे एक प्रवास आहे—एक सतत घडत जाणारी नाट्यमय सफर. प्रत्येकाचे जगणे वेगळे असते, कारण प्रत्येकाचा प्रवास वेगळा असतो. ही यात्रा कधी आनंदाची, कधी वेदनेची, तर कधी संघर्षांनी भरलेली असते. परंतु, या सर्व अनुभवांना जोडणारा समान धागा म्हणजे “नियती”—एक अदृश्य नाटककार. तिच्या लेखणीतून आपली कथा जन्म घेते. आपली जन्मतारीख म्हणजे रंगमंचावर आपली एन्ट्री, आणि मृत्यू म्हणजे तो अंतिम पडदा—आपली एक्झिट. आपण या महानाट्यातले एक पात्र असतो. कधी नायक, कधी खलनायक, कधी विदूषक, तर कधी एक निमूटपणे आपली भूमिका बजावणारा सामान्य पात्र.
या नाटकाचा शेवट निश्चित आहे, पण त्या शेवटाकडे जाताना आपण जे काही उभारतो—तेच आपल्या आयुष्याचे खरे यश आहे. आयुष्याचा पडदा जेव्हा शेवटी खाली येतो, तेव्हा मागे उरतात त्या आपल्या आठवणी, आपले विचार, आपले कार्य. आणि म्हणूनच—
"भूमिका मोठी किंवा छोटी नसते, ती कशी साकारली जाते ते महत्वाचं असतं."
♦️ भूमिका साकारण्याची संधी :-
आयुष्याच्या या रंगभूमीवर आपल्या हाती असते ती केवळ भूमिका साकारण्याची संधी. ती आपल्याला आवडो वा न आवडो, ती निभावण्याचे जबाबदारी आपली असते. कोणाला मुख्य भूमिका लाभते, कोणाला साइड रोल—हे आपल्या हाती नसते. पण ती भूमिका इमानेइतबारे सादर करणं, हेच खरं आपलं काम असतं.
♦️ या रंगभूमीवर प्रत्येकाचं वेगळं स्थान :-
कधी आपल्याला वाटतं की, का आपल्यालाच ही भूमिका मिळाली? का आयुष्याने आपल्यासाठी कठीण प्रसंगांची स्क्रिप्ट लिहिली? पण आपण हे विसरतो की, रंगभूमीवर प्रत्येक भूमिकेला स्वतःचे स्थान असते. एक विदूषक देखील रंगभूमीवर हास्याच्या पलिकडून गहिरे अर्थ पोहोचवू शकतो. आणि म्हणूनच प्रत्येक भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण ठरते—कारण त्या भूमिकेमुळेच नाटक पूर्ण होते.
♦️ रिहर्सलला जागा नसते :-
या नाटकात रिहर्सलला जागा नसते. रोजचा दिवस म्हणजे नवा सीन. कधी तालमीसारखा वाटणारा, कधी थेट लाईव्ह परफॉर्मन्ससारखा. आपल्या प्रत्येक कृतीवर प्रेक्षकांचे (म्हणजे समाजाचे) नजरेतून पडणारा प्रकाशझोत असतो. काही वेळा टाळ्याही मिळतात, आणि काही वेळा टीकाही.
♦️ संपूर्ण स्क्रिप्ट आपल्या हाती नसतेच :-
नियती हा लेखक असला तरी, तो संपूर्ण स्क्रिप्टच आपल्या हाती देत नाही. काही प्रसंग तयार असतात, पण त्यातले संवाद आपण ठरवतो. आपण कसे वागतो, कसे विचार करतो, हेच त्या सीनमध्ये रंग भरण्याचे काम करतं. म्हणूनच आयुष्याच्या रंगभूमीवर ‘कसे’ सादर करतो, हे महत्वाचे ठरते.
