As a writer, it is my heartfelt desire that my work receives an overwhelming response from readers. But beyond this personal aspiration, a deeper and more meaningful hope resides within me — that the new generation turns toward reading.
The world is changing, technology is advancing rapidly, and habits are evolving… yet if the love for reading continues to endure amidst all these changes, the intellectual health of society will remain strong.
No matter the medium — print, digital, or audio — the habit of reading nurtures critical thinking.
That’s why I eagerly await the day when the youth will once again be drawn to reading, peering curiously into the pages of books, and laying the foundation for a more thoughtful society.

There was a time when reading was an essential part of everyday life. Newspapers, magazines, books — a day wouldn’t pass without them. People could be seen reading on buses, trains, or even on street corners. Reading wasn’t just for gaining knowledge, but also for joy.
But today, in the glitter of mobile phones and social media, this old companion seems to be fading away.
2🔸 Changing Forms of Media – An Opportunity or a Challenge?
Today, the form in which we receive information and stories has drastically changed. People are turning to e-books, audiobooks, blogs, and podcasts. Some say that reading is declining, but I believe it’s not disappearing — it’s simply transforming.
If we bring quality content, depth, and creativity to these modern platforms, readers will return — just through different forms.
3🔸 The Shifting Mental Landscape of the New Generation
Today’s youth think fast and make quick decisions. They seek instant gratification. Long articles, deep reflections, and the need for patience often don’t appeal to them.
But if content is presented in the right language, in their style, and in a context they relate to, their curiosity can be rekindled.
4🔸 The Writer’s Responsibility – A Bridge Toward Reading
As a writer, my role is not limited to just writing. I believe my writing should draw readers toward the habit of reading, provoke thought, and connect them with their inner voice.
That’s why I always strive for diversity in themes, simplicity in style, and warmth in language.

तुला भविष्यात सर्वात जास्त उत्सुकता कशाबद्दल आहे?

माझ्या लेखनाला भरभरून प्रतिसाद मिळावा, ही लेखक म्हणून माझी एक मनापासूनची इच्छा आहे. पण या वैयक्तिक आकांक्षेपेक्षा मोठी आणि खोलवर रुजलेली एक जास्त महत्त्वाची आशा माझ्या मनात आहे – ती म्हणजे, नवी पिढी वाचनाकडे वळावी.
जग बदलत आहे, तंत्रज्ञान वेग घेत आहे, सवयी बदलत आहेत… पण या सगळ्या बदलांमध्येही जर वाचनाची गोडी टिकून राहिली, तर समाजाचं बौद्धिक आरोग्य उत्तम राहील.
माध्यम काहीही असो – छापील, डिजिटल, किंवा ऑडिओ – वाचनाची सवय ही विचारशक्ती वाढवणारी असते.
म्हणूनच मी उत्सुक आहे त्या दिवसासाठी… जेव्हा तरुणाई पुन्हा वाचनाच्या दिशेने वळेल, जिज्ञासेने पुस्तकांच्या पानांत डोकावेल आणि एका विचारशील समाजाची पायाभरणी होईल.
१🔸वाचनाची परंपरा – पूर्वीपासून आजपर्यंत
कधी काळी वाचन हा रोजच्या जीवनाचा भाग होता. वर्तमानपत्र, मासिकं, पुस्तकं याशिवाय दिवस चालत नसे. लोक बसमध्ये, रेल्वेत, कट्ट्यावर पुस्तकं वाचताना दिसत असत. हे केवळ ज्ञानासाठी नव्हे, तर आनंदासाठीही असे. पण आज मोबाईल, सोशल मीडियाच्या झगमगाटात हा जुना मित्र हरवतोय.
२️🔸माध्यमांचं बदलतं स्वरूप – संधी की संकट?
आज माहितीचं आणि कथेचं स्वरूप वेगळं झालं आहे. लोक ई-बुक्स, ऑडिओबुक्स, ब्लॉग्ज, पॉडकास्ट्सकडे वळत आहेत. काहीजण म्हणतात वाचन कमी झालंय, पण मला वाटतं वाचनाचं माध्यम बदललंय. जर आपण या नव्या माध्यमांमध्ये दर्जेदार साहित्य, सखोल विचार आणि सृजनशीलता आणली, तर वाचक पुन्हा निर्माण होतील – फक्त स्वरूप वेगळं असेल.
३️🔸नव्या पिढीचं बदलतं मानसिक परिपाक
आजची तरुणाई वेगात विचार करते, झपाट्याने निर्णय घेते. त्यांना तात्काळ समाधान हवं असतं. त्यांना लांब लेख, खोल विचार, आणि संयमाची आवश्यकता यामध्ये रस कमी वाटतो. पण योग्य भाषेत, त्यांच्या शैलीत आणि त्यांच्या संदर्भात जर साहित्य मांडलं, तर त्यांच्यातील जिज्ञासा जागी होऊ शकते.
४️🔸 लेखकाची जबाबदारी – वाचनकडे नेणारा दुवा
लेखक म्हणून माझी भूमिका फक्त लिहिण्यापुरती मर्यादित नाही. मला असं वाटतं की, माझं लेखन वाचकांना वाचनाच्या सवयीकडे वळवेल, त्यांना विचार करायला लावेल आणि आतल्या आवाजाशी जोडेल. म्हणूनच मी नेहमीच विषयांची विविधता, शैलीची साधेपणा आणि भाषेचा आत्मीयपणा जपतो.
५️🔸वाचक बनण्याची गरज – समाजासाठी एक गुंतवणूक
वाचन हे केवळ छंद नाही, तर समाजासाठी एक महत्त्वाची गुंतवणूक आहे. वाचनातून व्यक्ती समजूतदार, सहृदय, आणि विवेकबुद्धीने परिपक्व बनते. वाचक समाज हा सहिष्णु, प्रश्न विचारणारा आणि नव्या कल्पनांसाठी खुला असतो. ही मानसिकताच देशाचं खऱ्या अर्थाने बळ वाढवते.
६️🔸उद्यासाठी एक स्वप्न – ज्यात शब्द अजूनही जिवंत आहेत
माझं स्वप्न आहे की, काही वर्षांनी नवी पिढी पुन्हा पुस्तकांच्या जगात हरवलेली दिसावी – फक्त परंपरेनं नाही, तर स्वतःच्या आनंदासाठी. ती ब्लॉग वाचेल, कथा ऐकेल, विचारशील लेखांवर प्रतिक्रिया देईल… आणि वाचनाची ही साखळी पुन्हा सुरू होईल. हीच ती दिव्य कल्पना आहे, जी माझं लेखन आजही चालू ठेवते – कारण उद्याच्या वाचकावरच उद्याचं भान अवलंबून आहे.
