    “कठोर परिश्रमाला पर्याय नाही” हे आपण अनेकदा ऐकतो आणि ते मनोमन मान्यही करतो. पण प्रत्यक्ष कृतीच्या वेळी अनेक जण मागे सरकतात. प्रयत्न टाळून यशाकडे शॉर्टकट शोधण्याची वृत्ती मानवी स्वभावात खोलवर रुजलेली आहे. मेहनतीला वेळ द्यावा लागतो, संयम बाळगावा लागतो, आणि अपयशाची शक्यता झेलावी लागते. म्हणूनच अनेकदा आपण परिश्रमाऐवजी सोपा मार्ग निवडतो. परंतु दीर्घकाळात त्यातून टिकाऊ यश मिळत नाही. खरे यश तेच जे आपल्या मेहनतीवर आणि चिकाटीवर आधारलेले असते.
