If we look at the history of advanced human settlement, we see that people have had to make significant changes to themselves in order to understand and acquire various things and use them fully in their lives. Currently, we are inhabitants of Earth. Among the planets in our solar system, Earth is the only planet suitable for life. Even though other planets like the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, and others intrigue us, there is still no solid evidence of life existing there. Besides, believing that we are living a perfect life now would also be an illusion.
The idea of extraterrestrial life (where aliens live) is an interesting one. It’s okay for entertainment. But in reality, there is life only on one planet in the entire universe, and that is our planet. In this life, we each create our own unique world, and we dream about it. Realizing these dreams is what life is all about. For this, we struggle and work hard throughout our lives in our universe. Unlike the green-blooded, red-eyed aliens we see in Hollywood movies, we haven’t encountered such beings, nor have we found a new planet suitable for life despite extensive research.
In the sweet dreams of the early morning, we often live in a world more pleasant and comfortable than reality. So let’s turn the real world in to the dream world we envision. Our blood will always remain red; it will never turn green.
प्रगत मानवाच्या वसाहतीचा इतिहास चाळला तर त्याला प्रत्येक छोट्या मोठ्या गोष्टी समजून घेवून त्या मिळविण्यासाठी आणि त्याचा स्वतःच्या आयुष्यात पुरेपूर वापर करण्यासाठी मुळातच स्वतःमध्ये खूप बदल करून घ्यावे लागले आहेत. सध्या आपण पृथ्वीवासी आहोत. आणि आपल्या सौरमंडलातील ग्रहांमध्ये एकमेव पृथ्वी हाच ग्रह जीवसृष्टीसाठी उपयुक्त आहे. बाकी चंद्र, मंगळ आणि इतर छोटे-मोठे ग्रह आपल्याला खुणावत असले तरी तिथे जीवसृष्टी असल्याचे कोणतेही भक्कम पुरावे अजून तरी मिळालेले नाहीत. शिवाय सध्या देखील आपण परिपूर्ण जीवन जगतोय असे समजणे देखील स्वप्नदोषच ठरेल. मुळातच परग्रहांवरील जीवसृष्टी (एलियन्स रहात असलेली) ही रंजक कल्पना आहे. स्वतःचे मनोरंजन करून घेण्यासाठी ठीक आहे. पण वास्तवात संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांडात एकाच ग्रहावर जीवसृष्टी आहे. ती म्हणजे आपली जीवसृष्टी. आता या सृष्टीतही आपण आपली, प्रत्येकाची वेगळी सृष्टी निर्माण करतोच की ! त्याचीच स्वप्ने आपण रंगवत असतो. स्वप्ने प्रत्यक्षात साकारणे यालाच तर जीवन म्हणतात. यासाठीच आपण आपल्या विश्वात आयुष्यभर संघर्ष, मेहनत करत असतो. बाकी हॉलिवूडच्या सिनेमासारखे हिरव्या रक्ताचे, लाल डोळ्यांचे परग्रहवासी प्रत्यक्षात कधी आपल्याला भेटले नाहीत किंवा इतके शोध आजही लावले जात असताना संशोधकांना जीवसृष्टीसाठी पोषक असा नवा ग्रह सापडलेला नाही. पहाटे पडणाऱ्या साखर स्वप्नातील आपल्या विश्वात आपण वास्तवापेक्षा अधिक सुखदायी आणि आरामदायी जगत असतो. चला, आहे त्या वास्तवातील जगालाच आपण आपल्या स्वप्नातील जग बनवू यात. आपल्या रक्ताचा रंग कायमच लाल राहणार आहे. तो कधीच हिरवा होणार नाही……!
