“Playing cards with wife in free time: A source of entertainment…!”

Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?

Before writing on this topic, I want to clarify one thing: I was never attracted to outdoor games since childhood. If at all, I used to play indoor games like cards, chess, and carrom during my childhood. However, even this habit faded over time. Later, I would play “Rummy” with family members only during holidays.

Recently, during the COVID-19 pandemic, while working from home for almost a year and a half, I found myself with a lot of free time. As a result, I developed the habit of playing “Rummy” with my wife purely for entertainment. Of course, as soon as I realized I was losing continuously, I stopped playing (you have to lose when playing Rummy with your wife).

Apart from this, “game time” has no place in my routine. The only connection I have with games is playing Rummy occasionally to kill boredom during free time.
