What exactly is the soul? Is the “soul,” an essential part of the human body, an actual organ of the body? If it is an organ, why can’t it be seen? If it is a divine light, why isn’t its existence visible to the eye? Humanity has long been probing such questions. To this day, the size, shape, and appearance of the soul remain a mystery. Even if we accept the soul as an invisible form of divine energy, the question arises: under whose command does this energy activate the human organs? This question adds to the enigma surrounding the soul.

Across all religions and philosophies, one idea stands out clearly and unequivocally: the soul is immortal, while the human body perishes. This signifies that all religious texts have given greater importance to the "soul" than to the human body.

• The one undeniable truth is that the soul is a “divine power” created by God, a belief universally accepted. If we acknowledge its existence, we must also accept its invisible form and dimensions.
• This is why some describe the soul as resembling a crystal, while others liken it to a pendulum. We often imagine the soul as clear, transparent, and radiant, and this vision becomes our accepted understanding.
• To some, the soul appears like a sparkling diamond. But just as a raw diamond extracted from the mine must be polished, cut, and shaped before its brilliance can be fully appreciated, the soul too requires refinement. If we accept that the soul is like a raw diamond, then how can it shine without being polished?
• Cleansing the soul of the stains of negative thoughts and the dust of negativity is a spiritual process. By surrendering to the divine power or deity you believe in, and by following the path of purification outlined in your religious scriptures, you can experience the radiant light of your soul. This is the essence of spirituality.

“आत्मा म्हणजे कच्चा हिरा, चकचकीत केल्याशिवाय चमकत नाही…!”

आत्मा म्हणजे नेमके काय आहे ? मानवी देहाचा एक महत्त्वपूर्ण भाग असलेला “आत्मा” हा शरीराचा एक अवयव आहे का ? अवयव असेल तर तो दिसत का नाही ? तो जर दिव्यप्रकाश असेल तर त्याचे अस्तित्व नजरेत का दिसत नाही ? अशा अनेक प्रश्नांवर माणूस कायम संशोधन करत असतो. अद्याप त्याला आत्म्याच्या आकारमानाचा, त्याच्या दिसण्याचा शोध लागलेला नाही. अदृश्य स्वरूपातील एक दिव्य ऊर्जा असं त्याचं वर्णन मान्य केलं तरी देखील ही ऊर्जा मानवी अवयवांना कार्यान्वित ठेवते ती कुणाच्या आदेशावर ? हा प्रश्न आत्म्याविषयी अधिक गूढ निर्माण करणारा आहे.

सर्वच धर्मातील, विचारधारेतील तत्वज्ञानामधून एक विचार अगदी स्पष्ट आणि स्वच्छ आहे, तो विचार म्हणजे आत्मा अमर आहे, माणसाचे शरीर मृत पावते. म्हणजेच सर्वच धर्मग्रंथातून माणसांच्या शरीरापेक्षा "आत्म्याला" आढळस्थान दिले आहे.

• एकमात्र खरं ! आत्मा ही एक ईश्वराने निर्माण केलेली “दिव्य शक्ती” आहे हे सर्वमान्य आहे. मग जर आपल्याला त्याचे अस्तित्व मान्य असेल तर त्याचे अदृश्य असलेले आकारमान देखील आपल्याला मान्य करावेच लागेल.
• त्यामुळेच काही ठिकाणी आत्म्याचे स्वरूप हे स्फटिकाप्रमाणे असल्याचे मानतात, काही ठिकाणी आत्मा “लोलकाप्रमाणे” असल्याचे मानतात. स्वच्छ, पारदर्शी चकाकणारे स्वरूप हेच आपल्या कल्पनेतील आत्म्याचे स्वरूप आपण मान्य करतो.
• काहींना आत्मा हा चमकदार हिऱ्यासारखा वाटतो. मग प्रश्न असा आहे की खाणीतून काढलेल्या कच्चा हिऱ्याला घासूनपुसून, पैलू पाडून चमकदार केल्याशिवाय जसे हिऱ्याचा तेजस्वीपणा नजरेत भरत नाही,त्याचप्रमाणे आत्म्याचे देखील असते. आत्मा हा कच्च्या हिऱ्याप्रमाणे असतो असे जर आपल्याला मान्य असेल तर मग या आत्म्याला घासून-पुसून चकचकीत केल्याशिवाय तो चमकदार कसा होणार ?
• वाईट विचारांचे मळभ, नाकारात्मकताची जमणारी धूळ झटकून आत्मा स्वच्छ, चकचकीत करणे ही एक अध्यात्मिक प्रक्रिया आहे. तुम्ही ज्या देवाला किंवा दैवी शक्तीला मानता त्याला शरण जावून जर तुम्ही आत्म्याच्या शुद्धीकरणाची प्रक्रिया तुमच्या धर्म संहितेप्रमाणे पूर्ण कराल तर तुमच्या आत्म्याचा तेजस्वी प्रकाश तुम्हाला अनुभवता येतो हेच तर तुम्हाला अध्यात्म सांगते.
