दरवर्षीच गणेशोत्सव असतो. दरवर्षीच गणरायाचं आगमन, त्यांचा दहा दिवसांचा उत्सवी मुक्काम हे सगळं काही उत्साही आणि आनंददायी असतं. पण त्यांना दिला जाणारा निरोप-विसर्जन आणि पुन्हा पुढच्या वर्षी येण्याची आर्जवी विनंती मनाला चटका लावून जाते. जणू आनंद आणि दुःख ठरवूनच साजरे करायचे.

  गणरायाचं आगमन म्हणजे भक्तीचा सोहळा, घराघरात उमटणारा आनंदाचा जल्लोष.
  गणपतीच्या आराधनेतून प्रत्येक मनाला समाधानाचा श्वास मिळतो.

गणेशोत्सवाची सुरुवात ही घराघरात मंगल वातावरण निर्माण करणारी असते. श्रींच्या आगमनाने दरवळणारी फुलांची सुगंधी वेल, मंत्रोच्चारांचा गजर आणि भक्तांच्या हृदयात जागणारी उमेद हे सारे वातावरण भक्तिपूर्ण होतं. बाप्पाच्या मूर्तीचं घरात आगमन म्हणजे घरात सुख-समृद्धीचं पाऊल पडल्याचा विश्वास प्रत्येकाच्या मनात घट्ट रुजलेला असतो.
